WELCOME!

We are a Bible-believing church community embracing people of all ages and backgrounds, single and married and in families of all shapes and sizes. What unites us is our love for Jesus Christ.  It is our conviction that when the Bible is taught in the power of the Holy Spirit, God speaks to us clearly today.

We are a ‘congregation of small groups’.  The church meets centrally as a congregation of 300+  at 10.30am on Sunday mornings and again at 6.30pm on Sunday evenings. We also get together throughout the week in many smaller groups of different types to learn of God through his Word and to care for one another.

We have a passion for God and love to learn of Him through his Word. We seek to proclaim the good news of his Son Jesus Christ in every way we can, preaching from the Bible in a wide variety of contexts.  We are constantly seeking new ways of reaching out to our local community with the message of Jesus Christ in this modern world.

A major part of our ministry to our town is through the work of The Way, our Christian Community Centre situated a few yards from the main church building along West Street. The Way is open seven days a week for most of the hours of the day, running a broad range of community activities for everyone within a Christian context.

We are also committed to world mission and have a number of Global Mission Partners throughout the world whom we support with prayer and finance.
