Global Mission is God’s Passion

Mission means “sending”. God took the initiative in sending his Son, Jesus Christ, from heaven to earth. The reason he came is clear: “Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” (John 17:3 NIV)

Global Mission is Gospel Proclamation

When the Apostle Paul wrote to the Christians at Rome he boldly declared, “I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.” (Romans 1:16 NIV)

Global Mission achieves God’s Purposes

To the Christians at the church in Colosse, Paul wrote with joy concerning the gospel which had come to them: “…All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God’s grace in all its truth.” (Colossians 1:6 NIV)

Global Mission must be our Priority and Passion
